SOUTH KOREANS 1.1 KINDNESS OF SOUTH KOREANS-WARMS THE HEARTS From my previous Seoul trip, I knew foreigners without the kindness of South Koreans will have greater difficulty in finding their way around as almost all directional signs, road names, buildings, maps are in Hangul. Armed with just 2 korean greeting phrases, ( gam-sah-ham-ni-da =Thank You & an-yong-ha-se-yo= Good Morning), we descended onto Busan territory on an overnight flight via Thai Airways. The first road block we hit was on arrival at the Gimhae Airport when we inquired about cashbee cards at the 7/11 store. Fortunately, there was a Chinese Korean in the queue who translated our inquiry and helped us buy 2 cashbee cards. We were blessed by Koreans who spoke English, Chinese Koreans who spoke Mandarin who initiated to come forward to our aid whenever we looked confused or were at crossroads.
